“Well, we were born to die” Capulet, Act 3, Scene 4, Line 4

This quote means that when you are born, you only have one thing to achieve which is death. It is talking about Tybalt’s in a depressing way giving a reason for his grief. I think it is relating to the play by saying that no matter what happens we will die you can not change that, but what you can change is how and when you die. Romeo and Juliet could have lived a long life but would be separated, however they lived a much shorter life but was full of love till the very end. You can not escape death and you can’t escape fate however you can change it.
